I’m very proud to know this artist personally. She used to be an art tutor at a local college and took the brave step of “going it alone” and it has certainly paid off. The new Community Managers over at SU continue attempting to redirect the actual issues using elementary tactics-this isn’t the nursery and nobody is being bullied here.

I missed the whole bullying paragraph when I read the original.

I kind of suspect that all staff especially community managers are mistreated over there (judging by how SU forum threads were managed, back when they existed) and they (the CMers) are probably feeling slightly abused as owners say build community and increase participation, while making it impossible to do either of those things.

I missed the bullying paragraph because I was just laughing at the idea of participating in this struggle when there is so much evidence to suggest that the owner(s) have zero intention of listening to us.

I’ve watched the thread from beginning to end, there was no bullying. I also agree it is totally pointless to engage them, most of us did so for old times sake more than anything else, I think. We have no delusions of hope left.
